‘Mastering the Art of Digital Detox’
In this digital world, I found myself constantly glued to my screen &
started to feel trapped in the digital embrace & glowing canvas of screens.
A seemingly innocent scroll turned into a marathon of screen time excess.
It always started by just checking the phone for a min & turned into hours, spiraling down to consuming a lot of unwanted content.
My mind started to feel exhausted within the early hours of the day itself.
I woke up to the reality when my phone pinged me about my daily average screen time.
Shocking numbers stared back at me – it was time for a change!
Realizing the impact on my well-being, relationships, and productivity, I decided to take control.
No more mindless scrolling!
With a resolute spirit, I devised a Digital Detox Plan:

Step 1 – Set realistic limits.
A conscious decision to break free from the shackles of mindless scrolling.
Step 2 – Establishing Tech-Free Sanctuaries
Within the confines of my living space, I delineated sacred zones untouched by the glow of screens. These sanctuaries became spaces for genuine connection, bonding & me time.
Step 3 – Find offline alternatives.
It wasn’t easy, but it was necessary for a healthier balance so I involved myself in hobbies that were more outdoors in nature & gave time to genuine human interactions replacing virtual meets & conversations.
In my journey as a hashtag#wellnesscoach I reached out to friends and colleagues, only to discover I wasn’t alone.
We formed a support group, sharing tips and cheering each other on in this digital detox journey.
Gradually, my screen time reduced.
I felt more present, engaged, and accomplished.
My focus improved, and my relationships flourished.
